Top 5 Saturday: Sequels

Top 5 Saturday: Sequels

I saw this come up on Twitter last week, but since I was late, I figured I’d jump on it this week! Thank you so much to Amanda @ Devouring Books for bringing this back! I now have a Saturday weekly post besides my reviews.

Rules!

  • Share your top 5 books of the current topic– these can be books that you want to read, have read and loved, have read and hated, you can do it any way you want.

I absolutely cannot wait to read this one! I’m doing a buddy read for this series on Goodreads after we finished the first one together. I ended up buying all three books in hardcovers so I can always revisit them when I’m needing a Vasya fix. She’s my favorite.

After the way Renegades ended, I need to know how the heck this one is going to go! I’m pretty sure I screamed my face off after I finished the first one.

It’s been a minute since I finished Shadow and Bone, but I really want to get back into this series so I can read the spin off. Plus Leigh Bardugo is coming out with Ninth House soon (not part of the Grisha Verse) but I want to read more of her work ASAP.

I was having a conversation about this series on Twitter, and basically I don’t want this series to finish because I need Tea forever in my life. I’ll eventually finish it, but I’ll have to come back to this series too.

I basically want to do a reread of this series again since I think I stopped at this book. Once Dimitri became [redacted] at the end of either this book or the next one, I had to stop because my heart immediately broke. I need there to be a happy ending!

That was fun! Sticking to only 5 books, and all f them having to be sequels for this one was definitely a challenge. Thanks again for creating this one! I hope you guys join in on the fun.

    1. Thanks so much for inviting me! I can’t wait to do this every weekend. It’s fun to have an actually planned post for every day of the week. I haven’t finished it because I just don’t want it to end, but I have a feeling that if I did push through it I’d have finished it fairly quickly. (Not three days though! you’re speedy! I love it)

      1. I’m so happy you will be looking forward to it every weekend. If you have any ideas for topics let me know! I was really speedy with that series. I had a wicked sunburn and I just sat inside and read the whole series.
