Review Policy

**As of June 22, 2020, Review Requests are currently CLOSED until further notice. Thank you for your understanding.**

Thanks so much to my wonderful friend Brittany for encouraging me to add a review policy to my blog. Since I am open to receiving books in exchange for an honest review, I think it only makes perfect sense to ensure that authors, publicists, and publishers know what they should expect when they ask me to review book.

Authors/Publicists/Publishers

Thank you so much for visiting my blog, and thank you for your interest in having me read and review your novel. As I take a lot of time to read and review the novels that I read on a regular basis, please note that all of my reviews will be completely my own, regardless of how I received this book (ARC received by you, or purchased with my own money). I take integrity in knowing that my reviews are as honest as possible, and are solely based on my opinion throughout my journey of reading your book.

Unless otherwise stated, I will post a review of your novel on my blog and Goodreads. If there is anywhere else you would like me to post my review, please indicate so in your request. I will send you links to all of my reviews so you will be able to track them.

If you have a deadline of when I need to post the review by, please indicate so in your request and give me time to review it by then. As I usually read at least two or three books at one time, I ask that you give me at least four-six months to fully read and review your book so I can dedicate time to ensure that my review is sufficient for my standards and has the quality I feel it deserves for your novel. Due to the high volume of blog tours I have been accepted for, and other requests, I will do my best to read your novel as quickly as I can.

I am also an #OwnVoices reviewer for the following:

  • Chamorro/Pacific Islander
  • African-American/Black
  • Japanese
  • Chinese
  • Spanish
  • Cherokee/Native American
  • Depression
  • Plus Size/Fat
  • Anxiety

#OwnVoices novels will get priority.

Thank you again so much for your consideration, and I look forward to reading your novel.
