I know this post is going to be super long, but I mean… nothing wrong with that right? A whole week has gone by since I did away with my weekly wrap ups, and honestly I think I love the Sunday Posts way better!
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news about the past week, reading recaps, new hauls, and more.

So I totally didn’t read any of the ARCs on my backlist that I posted in last week’s post, but I DID read one of the backlist ARCs that I have been wanting to read, so that has to count for something right? I’m going to take it as a win in my book.

- Ingrid, The Viking Maiden by Kelly N. Jane
- Wages of Death: Shadow for Hire by Peter Last
- The Pachinko Girl by Vann Chow
- Feminism: From A to Z by Gayle Pittman
- Book of Souls by Nadine Nightingale

- Starchild Book One – Vacen Taylor (9/9)
- Children of Sinai – Shelley Clarke (9/11)
- A Treason of Thorns – Laura E. Weymouth (9/12)
- Stormrise – Jillian Boehme (9/15)
- A Different Time – Michael Hill (9/16)

I mean clearly it’s gotta be the one that I wanted everyone to see because I was so proud of myself:
[Original Tag] The Lost Girl Book Tag
Lost Girl is my absolute favorite show and I think it deserves so much more love! I know I keep saying this because it’s the truth! Kenzi is my absolute favorite character in the show too, and I just need more Kenzi in my life

So honestly this week was way less than before and I think that works out in my favor because I can’t keep buying books that are going to just sit on my kitchen table. Also I think I ended up losing interest in most of my library books, so those are definitely going back. Oh well, I’m a mood reader. It happens.

- We Set the Dark on Fire – Tehlor Kay Mejia
- Undead Girl Gang – Lily Anderson

- An Enchantment of Ravens – Margaret Rogerson
- Kingdom of Souls – Rena Barron
So Ravens ended up coming after I already finished the audiobook, and so I don’t really need it after all? But since when do I actually need all of my books on my shelf, am I right? Just kidding. But who knows? I may skim it so I can see certain parts that I want to revisit and all that jazz.

I’m still gonna do that massive unhaul eventually, so if you want some books for free – or shipping costs, whatever you feel like donating if you so choose – stay tuned.

I mean… nothing really special happened to me this week. I finished all of my monthly reports early enough, that I don’t have to worry about it anymore! I worked on another project that I needed to finish up by October, and now I’m just waiting for my VP to check it out one final time. I finished the budgets for the month and I just feel really on top of my work. I’m super proud.
I think I mentioned earlier in another post but I personally wasn’t impacted by Hurricane Dorian, and for that I’m terribly grateful. The downtown area where I work was flooded pretty badly, so I’m glad that we closed for the day. This weekend, I really just relaxed as much as possible because next week I’m supposed to be driving up to Fredericksburg to do a presentation that I really don’t want to do.
The only plus side to next weekend is that I’m finally going to meet Dana! Like, how cool is that right? That’s the only thing I’m excited for honestly.

I really didn’t deviate all that much from Lost Girl, but I did end up watching a new Netflix movie that I completely fell in love with! Funny enough, it’s actually called Falling Inn Love, and I may end up watching it again soon.

Do you know how nice it was to see Christina Milian in a movie again? Yaaaas, boo.

I was tempted to put one of my blog tour playlists on here, but I may end up doing that next week. For now, I’ll put another one on here.

I feel like this week wasn’t too major for me, but I mean, nothing is wrong with that right? I added more sections to my reviews. I’m having a ton of fun with my blog tour posts lately. I created an original tag that I’m proud of. I’m happy. I’m glad. That’s it, really! Until next week, fam.

I love Lost Girl! It has been forever since I’ve watched it though! I totally agree with being a mood reader though, I will have probably 10 books checked out from the library, get another and read that one first because it is what I’m in the mood for!

OMG okay I finally started watching the fifth and final season, and I’m like…. so angry about the Kenzi thing? I mean don’t get me wrong, I think she made a smart decision, but I just feel so bummed.
Oh gosh yeah! I had 22 books out I think, and I returned like 6 of them without touching it. I just don’t think I’m going to read them anymore honestly. I’m glad you get it!

You’re so silly ❤ Thank you! I know it started tapering off at the end because of me feeling like crap, which I am bummed about because with the storm, I was trying to have another three day readathon lol. But at least I finished a whole book for Sapphic Saturday! And YOU! I was so proud of you for finishing THREE WHOLE BOOKS on Saturday! You're a pro holy crap.
I think I'm going to rewatch Falling Inn Love because I loved it so much. I didn't watch that Bring it On movie!! I'll have to find it. Let me know if you end up reading it on Scribd!

Thanks so much Lydia. I’m really grateful that I wasn’t impacted as badly as some other places.
I’ll keep you guys posted next week on how both go!

I really liked We Set the Dark on Fire and got so lucky that even though I may have spent way too much money on the book, it was worth it.

OMG you’ve just reminded me that I want to watch Falling Inn Love. I never thought I’d be seeing Milian in a show or movie again but I’m so excited to check this out. Especially since it involves New Zealand and I AM A SUCKER for that Kiwi accent. Ugh. I’m so excited. Haha
Love this wrap up! There is absolutely nothing wrong with not having a ‘major’ week! It still sounds as if it was pretty great 😊Good luck with that presentation, Leelynn. You’ll be awesome! ❤️

Seriously, Dini that’s how I felt too about Christina Milian! That’s why when I saw she was in it, I knew I had to watch it ASAP and I was NOT disappointed! OMG yes that Kiwi accent was great, and I just loved that whole community! You’ll see what I mean when you watch it for sure.
Thank you, Dini ❤ ❤ Sometimes I think it's good not to have anything major because I need a break every once in a while!

YAY I’M SO EXCITED! Maybe I’ll put it on at the weekend when I’m lazing on my couch/bed and can’t be bothered to be social LOL
I totally agree, it’s so important to get a good break in sometimes! I’m glad you got one 🙂
