Yes… I got into another IG ban. I think it’s because I will dedicate like an hour or so of my time going through posts and liking and saving them. Which I think I’m going too fast and liking too much in one time so that’s why those bans happened. I come back on June 1st though, which is good since it’s my birth month so I want to be able to have some fun on my IG page. And I’ll make sure I don’t like and save so much too quickly! I think that will work, right?

I got through two ARCs and was able to post those reviews over this past week! I’m so freaking happy for that because its been a WHILE since I made any headway on my ARCs. Now, I’m currently in the middle of two ARCs. One is almost done and I think I’ll start prepping that review either tonight or tomorrow before work. I only have about 2+ hours left and I’ve been getting through it pretty quickly so I’ll be sure to get that one done soon. Then I’m about halfway done with the other ARC and I’ve been so immersed in this one as well! I’m glad both of these have been absolute hits!

I did receive some books in the mail that I definitely wasn’t expecting, so that was super awesome! I also found a used bookstore not too far from where I live so that was super cool to find! I ended up saving a bunch of stores to check out one of these days. I’ll slowly get to the farther ones but I would love to visit more indie and used bookstores, you know?

I didn’t see the books I got from someone else but I’ll have to find them soon and then add that to another Sunday Post list. All three books that I bought were from Book Owl Store, the used bookstore I found in Portsmouth. It was the cutest place, and stacked up to the ceiling with tons of books. I never realized how many people gave away those shirtless romance novels lol. I don’t remember the author but I think you know what I mean. I’ll have to take a picture next time.

I seem to be doing much better from my surgery. I haven’t felt too bad lately, but there were some bad days. I made sure to set up an appointment with my gastro so that he can make sure that there isn’t anything else wrong with me. Knowing my body, who knows, right?

Other than that, I have my birthday coming up in a couple of weekends, and I don’t plan on doing anything special. Maybe just chill out on the couch with my dogs and continue getting through my TBR mountain. I love that I have a never-ending list of books to read. If I ever said I was running out of books to read, that would truly be the end of the world.

Basically I was just listening to my audiobooks, so I don’t really have many songs on repeat. Oh you know what? There was something I was jamming to when I was driving around with Mark! Yes, never mind I actually do have a playlist that I was listening to a lot.

I ended up getting both Crunchyroll and Funimation because there have been a bunch of shows that I was looking for that I didn’t remember. But one of my favorite shows that I missed was Case Closed – I think it’s called Detective Conan in the Japanese version. Crunchyroll has the sub version, although I was looking for the dub version but it’s okay!

Then I also found Black Butler again on Funimation and one of the things that really drew me to that show was how many people compared it to Sorcery of Thorns – because there’s a boy/demon dynamic in that book that is pretty similar now that I think about it.

I think about how much I miss Sailor Moon… the original DiC English dub. Yes, I know that one wasn’t very accurate compared to the original Japanese version, but I’m very much a voice person and these are the voices that I grew up on. I tried to watch the original animation with the new English dub by VIZ… it just wasn’t the same for me. I wasn’t beholden to any of the voices. But then I also tried to watch the new Sailor Moon Crystal, and they took out so many of the filler episodes that I personally enjoyed because it gave the girls more time to get to know one another? Idk maybe I’m just weird, but I couldn’t get into the new show as much as I wanted to. Although did you hear that Netflix is going to be making their own Sailor Moon movie soon? It’s crazy! But I’m all down for it!
