Did you know that today is National Cookie Day? We all know that faeries love their sweets, which is why the prompt this week is: If your favorite genre was a cookie, what kind of cookie would it be?

How did I not know that such an amazing holiday existed?! I freaking miss eating amazing cookies so much! Although I can’t seem to find a photo of it, I bought a TON of cookies in celebration of Star Daughter, because one of the characters makes some really great cookies and I couldn’t resist.

Ahh, that was an amazing day.

So I’m going to be pretty basic here. My favorite genre is YA Fantasy. I will shout that out to the entire world. And my favorite cookie flavor that isn’t just my go-to chocolate chip would have to be the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup cookie from Insomnia Cookies. Now, this was never a thing in Hawaii, and I was totally okay with Cookie Corner – I miss that shop so much. But seeing that this place was open super late for cookies just sounded like my kind of place. And that would be the flavor that I pick for YA Fantasy because it could be a classic, but it’s also pretty deluxe and big in flavor so might as well pick it!

Thanks to this post… I ended up ordering a couple of cookies from Insomnia Cookies…
