And today makes six years that I’ve been married. Wowwwwwww.

And funny enough, Mark actually surprised me yesterday by coming home from being away at his parents house due to a family emergency – basically the thing that I hadn’t really been talking about that I won’t get too much into – so that we can do something after I get off work today. So that was a cool surprise. Don’t know what he has planned but it was really cool to come home and see him after not seeing him for a while.

Thank you again to Sam @ Taking on a World of Words for hosting this weekly meme. I’m pretty sure you all know the drill by now, but in case you don’t and you want to join, here are the three questions we always answer:

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What did you recently finish reading?
  3. What do you think you will read next?

Tomorrow is apparently my sixth year wedding anniversary and I have no idea what I want to do to celebrate. I think I want to eat some super good ramen or something. It will just be me and my baby girl dogs. I miss my boy Max, but I know that he’s keeping Mark company right now, so I’ll just see Max and cuddle him when I see him this weekend.

Thank you again Jana for hosting Top Ten Tuesday as always!

Just kidding, I’m not that bothered. I think.

I do have an appointment today so I’m off from work, but I am not at home because I want to get my early voting in since I have time to stand in line for longer than an hour. I don’t know how long you’ve had to stand in line during the early voting during this time, but I’ve been seeing in the news around the area I live and work in that people have been in line for upwards of five hours. If employers are only allowing people to take off an hour to vote without having to take PTO, then they are in essence taking half a day of PTO to vote, and this isn’t even on Election Day since some employers haven’t closed their offices and considered it a holiday.

Hmm…

So anyway, I’m doing it early so that on Election Day itself, I’m not having to take PTO and risk having to deal with the stress of that.

Thanks to Dini @ Dini Panda Reads, I’m adding Goodreads Monday to my weekly meme schedule, and I’m excited to do this one. This weekly meme was started by @Lauren’s Page Turners and it invites you to pick a book from your TBR and explain why you want to read it.
