Top 10 Favorite books featuring paranormal heroes/heroines.

Hmm… I know this month has been full of questions like this, so let me try to mix up my usual answers. Let me try I mean.

Elena: Vine Witch. Very, very awesome witch. Plus she was a toad for like seven years or so. You could imagine how she felt when she remembered that she was actually a bad ass witch that was cursed by someone.

Silas: Demon. I mean, we all know that Silas was the real hero of this story, and that’s a non-spoiler, fam.

Hannah: Elemental Witch. I feel like it’s super hard to pick anything else besides witches, and Hannah was a great one. I mean… maybe I liked Morgan a little more, but I didn’t get to see her kick ass as much yet.

Nedra: Necromancer. Oh, man I’m so into Nedra, okay? I still need to finish the duology but maybe I’ll just not finish it so I can just think of Nedra as being forever in existence. Not to say that she won’t be since I don’t know, but I mean it is a duology. What else can I think?

Circe: Witch/Minor Goddess. Every single person needs to leave my Circe alone, okay? Don’t be all making her out to be the bad guy her just because she stood up for herself. Get gone.

Nym: Elf. Ugh, she was super one of my favorite characters in this one, out of the main characters. I love elves in general, but I think the little that I got to know about her during this time – and I’m so hoping that I get to read the rest of the series – was great. I rarely think about her though, and that’s my bad but she needs more kudos.

Ellie: Demon Slayer/[redacted]. Well I can’t say what else she may be since that would be a spoiler, plus I don’t think she even knows what she really is. But… yeah. Definitely on my cool list.

Bat: Goddess. I love that she ended up in Ireland somehow – I mean she was a forgotten Egyptian goddess after all – and then ended up getting to make out with three brothers. Lucky girl.

Aventurine: Dragon. Even though she spends the majority of this book as a human – turned against her will of course – she still has that dragon spirit in her that I freaking love.

Othello: Dwarf. I think he was one of my favorite characters in the whole novel. I’m pretty sure that I stuck with this journey mostly for him, although Fletcher is a pretty good guy as well. I just have a thing for non-human characters more.

I tried to choose different types of creatures so it wasn’t all of my usual picks, and I hope that helped! I believe this was all books that I read this year, so you should be able to find reviews on all of these books on my blog. If you want, I mean. But yeah, I hope you like my choices!

  1. I seriously need to try and read Give The Dark My Love, Circe and Sorcery Of Thorns by the end of the year. They all sound so amazing. I love all of your answers though and some of these books I hadn’t even heard of before. I love that you used a whole mixture of different creatures too (:
