Take a trip to the cemetery to mourn characters that are gone from their world too soon. Could be a character death, could be a character riding off into the sunset never to be seen again. Spoiler tags are a must! Don’t ruin it for your bookish pals -_- .

What are the freaking odds that I would end up finishing a book that had a character death that I WAS NOT PREPARED FOR and then have to do this post? Well now I’m freaking heartbroken.

Also you may have noticed that I put a spoiler alert right before the post break, and that’s because I don’t want anyone to be spoiled by any of the deaths that I post on here. So I’ll make the covers big so you can scroll past the book you don’t want to be spoiled by. I hope that works!

Kaede died so quickly and I was like… what the hell? She was just living her best life and making some bomb ass moves as the fighter pilot that she was born to be and she ends up getting shot by a stray bullet. No last words or anything. Like, the hell was that man.

Dude…. Sumi being the first of the kids to die for a stupid reason – in my eyes, it was stupid, but I get it… I freaking get it – pissed me off. I loved her and I barely got to know her because she ends up getting snuffed out.

I know only one kid was supposed to survive, but Rue’s death was the worst for me. She was really the catalyst of this whole rebellion, not Katniss. But that’s my opinion I guess.

She barely even lasted in this book, but Indigo!!! Like this book freaking hurt me, okay? This was a dark Oz, and I was not expecting death to happen so quickly.

Manny… wow this book made me angry. And not at Nic Stone, but that this shit happens so many times and people still think this “isn’t realistic.” I don’t even want to talk about it right now, because I’ll get hot and bothered in a bad way, but yeah. Poor, poor Manny.
