Happy Father’s Day to all of the amazing dads and stepdads out there! If you are close with your fathers, I wish them a wonderful day as well. I didn’t really do much this weekend other than feel sick and stay at home, but I didn’t forget to finally post this one (well maybe I almost forgot) before Sunday was officially over on the East Coast. Let’s see how this week went.

This one was another ARC I received on Netgalley that I enjoyed. It was also another one where I did not read the prior books so while there were some areas where I felt a little lost, I still was able to understand the majority of what was going on.

Another ARC from Netgalley and I loved that this one was an actual graphic novel! Seeing Harriet Tubman and Frederick Douglass as bad ass civil war era superheroes was amazing. Having the KKK as the bad guys made total sense. I hope there’s another one!

Merrilee reminded me so much of myself with having so many book boyfriends, although she’s a caliber higher than me because I still haven’t read Pride & Prejudice. I like the Zombies version though. Does that count? Technically an ARC review for Netgalley although I’m reading it a year too late. Sorry Netgalley.

Had an awesome buddy read with Brittany on this one! Definitely missed doing those buddy read discussions with her. Make sure you check out my previous post to see for yourself!

I took a very long break in-between because I got caught up in trying to catch up on my ARCs but I finally finished this one before the month was out. I love that Neil Gaiman narrates this audiobook because I feel like it made the stories feel so much more alive. Highly recommend keeping this one on your shelf for future trips to Asgard.
Phew! That was a long list! Not sure if I like making the format like this (it does sort of save space but I don’t know how to keep the pictures small enough), but it’s better than nothing, right! How did you guys do this week? Let me know!

Oh my goodness, you got SO many reads done! Seriously, you’ve been killing it lately!!

I was shocked! Thank you so much ❤ I think this makes up for the first half of the year where I barely read a book a month.

Yes, it definitely makes up for that!! Although, reading at all, any at pace, is really what matters! I’m glad you’re enjoying your reads though ♥

That’s what I tell my husband when he says that he’s too slow of a reader. It’s not about the pace, but if you’re enjoying it ❤ I love that message.
