I’m almost done with this one. I’ve been listening to it before bed, but I may try to finish it today so I can move to the next one. This was definitely not what I was expecting, and I’m appreciating that fact! I got to do this through an audiobook tour with MTMC Tours, so thank you so much for this opportunity! I’m hoping I’ll be able to share a mini review once I’m done so I can make sure I get back on that wagon. Other than that, no other ARCs but this is great progress.

Unfortunately I got another ILL and this one is due way earlier than the other ones, so I may have to shift priorities. Or I’m going to have to try an audiobook copy that I can borrow that will give me time to listen to it. It’s a pretty thick book too. Not to mention I haven’t even touched the other books that I borrowed yet, so I really need to work on them eventually.

Here’s the deal: No more requesting ILLs until I finish the ones that I have. And until I finish the other books that I have borrowed because it’s just getting to be too much… actually I’ll never have too many books but I do need to make sure that I actually read them.

Yesterday – or today, since that’s when I’m writing the post – I got to help out with my library’s Artist Alley event. It touched on Art Therapy, and we got to really play around with different types of art to just destress and relax. I ended up getting super involved in it and it was a lot of fun. I used to do a lot of rainbow ripples when I was younger after someone taught me how to do it, and it’s something that I hadn’t done in so long. I ended up doing it with chalk and I’m hoping that it gets to stay around for a bit.

Here’s a picture that I took of it, before I finished it but it was pretty much done. My goal was to do the one sidewalk square, which I did do. I don’t know how long it actually took me to do, and the heat was definitely getting to me, but I completed my goal. So for that, I’m very proud of myself. I’m definitely not artistic like others, but I’m glad that I was able to do this.

I don’t know what playlist we were listening to at Artist Alley, but I know there was some K-pop involved. However! I did get to pick one of my favorite songs to listen to while we were cleaning up from Artist Alley, so I’ll share it here since it’s my boo Becky G!

Oh I totally forgot that I could watch my absolutely favorite show on CW Seed, and I’m so glad I can go back down memory lane! Do you know which show I’m talking about? I’ll give you a hint.

YES! The answer is Lost Girl! Ugh my absolute favorite show in the entire world outside of Avatar and Korra. My goodness I’m so glad I found a place to watch them. Amazon Prime doesn’t have the first season for some odd ass reason, so I’m glad that I was able to at least find it on CW. Even though there’s like a crap ton of ads. I hate ads, but if I’m watching it for free, then I gotta do what I gotta do.

I’m really glad to be back, and I’m glad that I can be around to write these posts. I’m off work and I may relax more before I have to have a long week in front of me. There’s a few programs that I’m having to do, a lot of weekends Monday and the rest of the week, and then a board meeting on Friday. So I don’t know how active I will be at least on Instagram – which I am trying to post every day but that’s not happening and it’s okay – but I’ll definitely try to get my posts together. I also have to make sure that I post at least one review on the blog sometime this week, so I may actually work on it before Monday starts. Who knows? We will see what happens!
