#FaeFriday was created to help fill the hole in Kristy’s life after #FridayFavorites was discontinued. The idea behind this weekly blog prompt is that each Friday will have a bit of magic sparkled on it with a bookish prompt inspired by the Fair Folk! #FaeFriday is the creation of Kristy from Caffeinated Fae! This blog tag would not have been possible without the help & encouragement from Leah at www.leahs-books.com!
With the closing of the November chapter of 2020, I wanted to focus on thankfulness this week. So, this prompt is a bit different. What is something that you are thankful for this year?
So, in addition to the post that I did for Top Ten Tuesday, I can make this super short. Really, I am just so thankful for everyone that has touched my life this year, those that both brought me light when all I saw was darkness, and those that have continued to support me throughout the years. I wouldn’t be here today without you, and I am so humbled to have you in my life. Not just this year but for all the years that we know each other.
I’m thankful for my family, and I’m thankful that my grandma is still alive right now, doing her best to stay healthy and not get sick before I can see her again. I’m thankful that my mom and brother have been healthy and taking care of each other when things have been getting difficult. I’m thankful for my husband who has been dealing with so many familial hardships this year and yet someone he still manages to bring a smile to those who encounter him. I’m thankful to have them all in my life.
Now, it may be Friday and things may be a little hectic today, but I hope that you take some time to rest and enjoy your day. I’ll see you all soon.
