I think out of all the weekly memes that I did back in the day, this was one of my favorites because I could look at all the books I was trying to read at once and see if I would even finish any by the next time I posted. Did I? Sometimes. Did I feel accomplished whenever I finished something? Of course! Plus I liked being able to visually see how… enthusiastic I was about reading multiple books at the same time.

Thank you again to Sam @ Taking on a World of Words for hosting this weekly meme. I’m pretty sure you all know the drill by now, but in case you don’t and you want to join, here are the three questions we always answer:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you will read next?

- Who Put This Song On? – Morgan Parker (77%)
- Legendborn – Tracy Deonn (70%)
- Into the Drowning Deep – Mira Grant (35%)
So, Into the Drowning Deep is for a horror novel buddy read thing on Facebook, and the only reason why I’m trying this one out is because it’s killer mermaid related. It kind of reminds me of the show Siren? Since they are predators, and they aren’t like the super pretty versions of mermaids like Disney made us think they would be? But I mean… yeah killer mermaids.

And then of course Legendborn because DUH! I don’t know why it’s taking me forever to finish it. I think it’s because I want to dedicate my whole brain to this story rather than just reading it when I’m about to go to sleep… which seems to be the only time I can read it. UGH! I don’t like that.
But when I doooooo end up finishing it, I’m curious to see who would wanna do a live chat discussion on StreamYard about Legendborn! So if anyone wants to partake, let me know?

- Always Human – Ari North
- The Kiss Quotient – Helen Hoang
- The Dragon Republic – R. F. Kuang
Obviously I didn’t want to put everything that I finished between today and the last time I did a WWW Wednesday (October 30, 2019, in case you were curious)…. so I did the last three that I finished. The Kiss Quotient was a reread that I surprisingly read lats year in September as well! So, I may end up doing that every year because that was one of my favorite contemporary romance novels to date. Plus, I just really like the story, honestly.

- Heavy Vinyl – Carly Usdin
- Fat Girl on a Plane – Kelly deVos
- The Henna Wars – Adiba Jaigirdar
- The House in the Cerulean Sea – T. J. Klune
Honestly, I feel like I’m getting into a reading slump, especially since I’m still doing everything else that I’m doing, and getting more things added to my plate. I love it, but I also feel like maybe I’m worn out? I don’t know. I’ll find something to read for sure. I also feel like I’m behind on a lot of books as well, so who knows? I may pick something completely different by the time next week comes around. We will have to see.

Have you read any of these books yet? Is there any of these that I should move up my list? I am trying to hurry with my physical book so I can move on to another physical book – I try to do one of each at the same time (physical, audiobook, ebook?) – so that I’m not getting confused by which one I need to finish first in the same format. Trust, that’s happened before, and honestly I will forget about something if I do it that way again.
What was I asking again?
Stay thirsty, friends.

I love your aesthetic so much on your blog!! So beautiful 🙂 I cannot wait for Legendborn! My library ordered copies so I’m glad I can get it when it comes out

Amanda you are so sweet! I’m honestly changing up my post graphics so often – I feel – because I’m not happy with my work but then there will be times that I like it for a while. I’ll probably change this again in about a couple of months or so, but so far I do love it. The main blog though is of course from Kat @ Novels & Waffles! Seriously she helped me finally have a brand for my blog and I am so in love with what she did for me!
Oh gosh I can’t wait for you to read Legendborn!! I think I just made it to about 80% now while I was at work, and I’m dying to finish it already! I need to just take a break from adult life and just read Legendborn until I’m done! haha if onlyyyy. Let me know what you end up thinking about it when you read it!

Kat is the freaking best with her designs! Her blog is one of my favorites 🙂 Well I think yours looks amazing. I wouldn’t change it. Lol I’m so glad you’re loving it. With all the ARCs I still have to get to, I will pick up the audio book if I can’t squeeze in the time to read the physical. The narrator is the same lady for Raybearer too so that’s cool 🙂
