#BEWinter19 Series: Late on Gifts (Oops!)

Hello friends! Today is my first day of hosting the BookEnding Winter event, and I’m so glad to be here today. I know that I have been out of it for this entire month, and quite honestly I am still not at 100% health right now, but I wanted to make sure that you had a fun little prompt to do today.

Don’t forget to thank the amazing Clo & Sam for creating this quarterly event, and to all of the other hosts that have done an awesome job giving us some prompts to do this month. It was such a great time, and I loved the creativity that everyone had with their prompts! I’m in the presence of just amazing people, honestly and I am humbled to be here.

So like I was mentioning, I’m the host for the final two days of BEWinter, and wow can you believe that we only have two more days in 2019? Then it’s a whole new decade?! Like, what is this madness?

So today, I was thinking about all the late gifts I would have to get because knowing me, I am terrible at getting anything ahead of time.

Prompt Explanation: Now that the holiday season is over, let’s talk about some gifts you still haven’t  delivered yet! List down some of your favourite bookish characters and what you would (meant) to get them for the holidays but completely forgot.

And to those special book characters that I didn’t get gifts for, I’m so sorry! I hope you know I still love you.

Susan Pevensie from The Chronicles of Narnia

Since I’ve been watching the Chronicles of Narnia on Disney+ today while trying to stay awake, which didn’t work, by the way, I was thinking about how much I adore Susan. Don’t know why I forgot about these two movies for so long, but it was probably because I hadn’t thought about them in forever. However, since I remember this is one of the first movies that made me love Anna Popplewell (the actress who plays Susan) even more than I already do, I figured I’d get her some new armor that would go well with her bow and arrows. I like what she has on already, but I’d maybe update it a little.

Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter Series

I mean of course, I can’t forget my girl Hermione. Although what would I get the best girl in the entire world? That one would be hard actually, and hmm. I’m sure she could get any book she would want to have, and she’s probably read a lot more books that I ever would. Hmm, I would probably give her a journal for her to write down everything she ever thought about Harry and Ron when they were growing up, but could never tell them.

I can’t wait to hear what you guys have to say! I know this one was pretty short, but I left it short so that I could see what you would give to your favorite bookish characters! Please link me in your posts so I can take a look, and have fun with this prompt! Stay tuned for tomorrow’s tag. It’s sure to be a great one.
