Thank you again to Sam @ Taking on a World of Words for hosting this weekly meme. I’m pretty sure you all know the drill by now, but in case you don’t and you want to join, here are the three questions we always answer:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you will read next?

- A Reaper at the Gates – Sabaa Tahir***
- Pachinko – Min Jin Lee
- Almost Surely Dead – Amina Akhtar
- Two Twisted Crowns – Rachel Gillig

I’ve been pretty happy with the books I’m reading right now. I have to put a pause on Tahir’s series right now though, so that I can wait until my husband and I are reunited! I swear if he reads ahead of me, I’m gonna rage lol. I’m purposely waiting to read it with him instead of going ahead when I know I could finish the rest of the book and series before I see him again. I’m also pretty surprised that I’m about to finish a duology this year! I’m such a serial non-finisher of series so to actually do that? Super shocked and proud of myself.

- Seaside Sorcery – Rosalie Hunter
Divine Rivals – Rebecca Ross- She Who Became the Sun – Shelley Parker-Chan

So not only did I finally finish two books for the month of March, but I also finished my first book for the TBR Jar Game that I’m playing with the Facebook Group Literally Bookish! I also picked out my book for next week so I’ll start that tomorrow. I’m so shocked that I’ve been keeping up with that game, and I’m actually doing a pretty good job with my Goodreads challenge. I won’t say much about the Wednesday Books book since I’m still standing with the boycott, but when it’s done, I’ll share my review. I may write it down before I forget though, so at least it’s ready. I need to catch up on reviews, I swear. How do I reset my counter without actually giving up all the books I’ve received? Someone give me the sweet spot.

- Fake Dates and Mooncakes – Sher Lee
- Black Girls Must Have it All – Jayne Allen
- No Filter and Other Lies – Crystal Maldonado
- Love, Decoded – Jennifer Yen
- Canadian Boyfriend – Jenny Holiday
Adding one more book to that list since it’s going to be my TBR Jar Game book for week 2. I’m debating on whether I’ll keep doing a TBR Jar when I move or if I’m only going to do this for the month’s challenge and then stop. I already do a possibility pile for my journal and even then I don’t end up reading everything on that list every month. Could you imagine if I did though? There would be no stopping me from taking over the world!

Oops, let me tone down that evil streak real quick lol. Anyway, how is your reading progress going? Can you believe we are in the second week of March already? I swear time goes by so quickly when you don’t want it to, and then when you do, it goes by SO DAMN SLOWLY. I can’t handle it.

My March has been slow so far. I’m trying to get myself out of a reading slump. It’s the worst.
