Top Ten Tuesday | Books I Love That I Need to Reread

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

Hello Mersquad! I’m back with another Top Ten Tuesday post. I’m working on this really late though, and hopefully I’ll be able to make this sound somewhat coherent. Or I may just keep it short this week. I still haven’t done my Sunday Post like I wanted to, so I’m really going to need to set aside time to do that.

This week’s prompt was a freebie in honor of Valentine’s Day tomorrow, so I picked my own prompt. I wanted to share some of the books that I have read in the past and absolutely loved, that I need to reread. I may have reread them at some point in my life, but not recently. Or I didn’t reread them at all, and I really want to. So I’m gonna share a bit with you today.

I feel like some of these books may repeat from last week’s post, but hopefully not many of them will.

I actually gave away one of my favorite books to someone who said they wanted to read it. I almost didn’t part with it because I hadn’t had a chance to read it again, but I figured that it would be loved by someone that wanted to read it. Since I’ve been trying to give the majority of my books away due to moving, I’ve been really, really, really being generous with the books I’ve been giving away. It almost hurts though, because of how many books I have and how proud I am of my collection, but I know that I can’t bring all of them with me. I’ve been good at keeping any ARCs and books that are personally signed to me, but man it’s so weird seeing so many of my books going out of my house without coming back.

  1. Love this! I haven’t re-read a book in so long, thanks to my mega TBR, but there’s a few on my shelves I would love to pick up again. I actually haven’t read any of your picks, but I’ll definitely be adding a few to my TBR 🙂
