How is it already Day 3 of the Forest of Souls Book Tour and I’m already dying to share with you my review?! But nope, I’m not going to post it early. And nope, I’m not going to hint at what I love about this book – although I may or may not have already done so in my two previous posts but oh well! – but I am going to share with you an original tag that I created for the tour!

This was one of my favorite books so far this year. I feel like Córdova really did an amazing job with the plot and I really couldn’t get enough with the story. I know there was a point where I was like “there’s no way she did what I think she did.” and then something happened and then I was like “I FREAKING KNEW IT!” and I was shooketh and it was just a great plot. I was able to follow everything and just… * chef kisses*

Okay, I feel like Lupe was a super hot-headed individual. Like, almost a little too hot-headed for me because there would be times when she would be upset and she would be super rude to her uncle and I was like “chica…. that’s your uncle. Don’t you know we aren’t supposed to talk back to our elders?! Dafuq, bruh?” But yeah. I would have to say Lupe for sure.

The way that this book ended, I feel like Kimi and her mom are going to be just fine. I also feel like Kimi’s relationship with Akira is going to go well also, even being long distance. I still need to write my review for this but it just gave me all kinds of hope and I never felt so happy finishing a book and hoping that the characters were doing amazing afterwards.

Well I mean besides mermaids – duhhhhh have you seen my blog?! – I have to go with sirens because I have not seen any diverse mermaid books yet. Luckily this book on a black siren came out recently and I fell in love with it! Morrow did such an amazing job with it and I adored Tavia so much. Makes me wish I had some siren tendencies too.

I mean I know I can already read this book – thank goodness I was able to snag an eGalley – but I can’t wait to BUY this one, ya feel? I really enjoyed the first novel and after that insane ending?! I need to know how this is going to end. I can’t believe this is just going to be a duology?! Like… I want it to be a trilogy or just a neverending series just so I can be in this world forever.

How fun was this one?! I hope to see a lot of people participate in this tag! Can you believe we have less than a week until Forest of Souls comes out?! I’m so freaking excited!!! And less than three days until I post my triple threat review!
