Hey fam. Yes again I didn’t wake up until the day was pretty much over and I forgot to put this as a draft until I woke up. But it’s okay! I’m working on it now so it will be okay, I hope hehe. I hope everyone has been doing okay. For those that celebrate Easter this Sunday, I hope you are all doing okay. For those that celebrate Easter next Sunday, I hope you’ll be able to celebrate a little bit at home. I know it’s not the same, but we are all here for all of you. We are together in spirit and through the internet.

Today we have Kate @ Cover to Cover wanting us to talk about our anticipated Spring releases!
This one is pretty self-explanatory, but I also like people to come away with a few recommendations from these blog posts. Start with recommending 2-3 books that came out last season (end of 2019/or in 2020), and then move on to your anticipated spring releases!
So… not just Spring but also Winter books that came out that I recommend. Okay I’m going to try! Let’s see what I can do for you fam. Let’s see if there are any on here that you like or recommend, and give me your recommendations too!

So you’re gonna have me think back to when I was reading books like crazy and I don’t even remember what was going on? Okay, fam. Okay.
I’m about to read this for the third time and this book like only came out in January so…. clearly I love this book. AND, I don’t reread books very often or that close together so that should tell you something as well. I loved the story of Ever and how she was able to get an opportunity to really get more into her culture and see how others around her age deal with the pressures from their families. I felt that so much, and if you read both of my reviews on this book, you’ll see how much this book meant to me as an Asian-American girl.
So this book came out in November 2019 and I literally could not put it down. You know where you’re reading a book and you just don’t care about adulting or anything else until you finish it? This was me with this book because I just really felt something with this novel. If you read my review for this book, I think you’ll get why I recommend this one so much.

I feel like I’m one of those people that doesn’t realize something is coming out soon until it comes out and I’m like WHAAAAAAT? I’m the worst at keeping track of what’s coming out but I’ll do my best!
Okay, according to Goodreads this is still scheduled to come out April 28th, so here’s hoping! I need to actually read this book soon because I have a blog tour for it, and I’m so freaking excited! I love Zoraida Cordova and I can’t freaking wait to read all of her books forever and ever and ever.
Another April release! I’m so excited to read this one and ugh the plot and everything just speaks to my damn soul. I need to read this one like now. Which I need to read it soon because I’m also on the blog tour for this one.
I received an ARC for this one too and ugh this is giving me life, okay? I need to read this ASAP so I can share my thoughts with you on this. Shout out to that cover art too! Ugh #BlackGirlMagic all over that.
Elizabeth Acevedo is amazing okay, and I’m gonna keep supporting her novels, which includes this one! I am dying for this one to come out and this is supposed to be coming out in May! Look at this cover too though. Ugh these covers are seriously stepping up their game lately okay? Thank goodness.
Seriously I’m so glad more books like these are coming out and I can’t wait to read this one! I’m on a blog tour for this one too so I need to jump on that soon. Look at this cover too!
This one is coming out in June – some time after my birthday so… if anyone wants to get this for me as a birthday present, I’ll give you my Amazon wish list! I’ve been waiting for this one for a long time too, so I need this to come out like super soon.
When I saw this book come through my twitter feed I knew I had to read this one. I’m hoping I’ll get a chance to read it when it comes out in June!

And that’s it! I’ve seen that a lot of the books that were coming out in Spring have different release dates now due to COVID-19, so they are coming out much later than expected. I know a lot of people are pretty bummed about it, and I can only imagine how the authors feel about the news. Let’s just make sure that we still support our favorite authors when their novels come out, okay!

Reblogged this on ReBirth: The Pursuit of Porsha.

I need to get my hands on A Constellation of Roses, for sure. I didn’t sign up for the blog tour on that one and you’re making me regret that decision!! I’m also the worst at knowing when books come out, which is why I try to do a quarterly post like this – and assigning it as today’s prompts means that other people are bringing books to my attention, too 😂 These all such have beautiful covers! I hope you love them ❤

I want to read pretty much all of these!! If I had to pick a top three though I guess it would be A Song Of Wraith & Ruins (which sounds incredible!!), Incendiary and probably A Silence Of Bones? All of these sound super interesting though and I hope you end up loving them all.
