Blog Tour: Five Minutes, Alfie by Lily Mae Walters | Review

Okay this one isn’t going to have much information because this book isn’t on Goodreads and there’s no tour page like usual. Sorry, fam! But thank you as always to Rachel’s Random Resources for including me in this blog tour. Sometimes ya girl just needs some children’s books to take a break from all the YA Fantasy books I read, okay? Or even the contemporary romances. This was a breath of fresh air.

Disclaimer: I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you to Rachel’s Random Resources, and Lily Mae Walters for this free copy. All quotes in this review are taken from the Advanced Reader Copy and may change in final publication.

This was one of the cutest children’s book that I ever read. Basically, the reason why Alfie didn’t want to wake up was because he was having an awesome dream about a kingdom and a dragon sleeping. It was adorable, and I think the ending result of that dream had a really good moral.

Yes, yes I know that this review is super short but the story was just so cute and there really isn’t much more to say about that. The illustration was freaking beautiful, and I definitely could see myself buying this book for some of the children in my family. It was that cute, and I think they would like seeing a dragon in the mix, and a pretty princess sprinkled here and there.

Plus Alfie just wanted to sleep for a little bit longer, and I feel that in my soul. Don’t we all just need five more minutes of shut eye to really process our dreams? I know I do.
