I love to read, sometimes. Hence the title of my blog! I love to read but I can't always read when I want to, so I figured I'd dedicate my time to the ones that make it past my reading slump and work on collaborating with other book bloggers!
I’m still freaking sick though. I’ve officially been sick for a whole ass week. I am not happy with my body right now for starting off the year being almost bedridden. I just need to feel better so I can actually eat again, because my stomach would really like to have some sort of sustenance!
Thanks to Dini @ Dini Panda Reads, I’m adding Goodreads Monday to my weekly meme schedule, and I’m excited to do this one. This weekly meme was started by @Lauren’s Page Turners and it invites you to pick a book from your TBR and explain why you want to read it.
Yes, I am using my intro post from last week because I didn’t get a chance to finish typing my post so blehahha. I may even be still reading the same books so yolo.
Today is a half-day for our office because of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I think that’s pretty cool that I only have two full days of work this week – since Monday I really wasn’t going to go in since I hadn’t heard back from my test results until earlier that afternoon, but I did anyway. It was nice getting back into the swing of things but I still feel sick in the mornings. Morning sickness? I hope not. No nausea or anything, just feeling like I have a head cold or something like that. It’s weird. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to wake up on time during Christmas so I can see what Santa left under the tree for the doggies.
Thank you again to Sam @ Taking on a World of Words for hosting this weekly meme. I’m pretty sure you all know the drill by now, but in case you don’t and you want to join, here are the three questions we always answer:
This prompt actually makes me really glad that I have a way to track my favorite book every month, since that is going to help me figure out the majority of the books to include on this list. Do you know how HARD it is to pick what my favorite book is each month? It was the hardest darn thing ever! But I did it, and I plan on doing it again next year just in case there’s another prompt like this in 2021!
