Thank you again to Sam @ Taking on a World of Words for hosting this weekly meme. I’m pretty sure you all know the drill by now, but in case you don’t and you want to join, here are the three questions we always answer:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you will read next?

- One Dark Window – Rachel Gillig
- A Torch Against the Night – Sabaa Tahir
- Ghost Roast – Shawnee Gibbs
- The One Hundred Years of Lenni and Margot – Marianne Cronin
I can’t believe that I’ve been slowing down on my reading! Well, maybe I do get it a little bit since I’ve been working on getting ready to leave here. But I have some awesome news about my job prospects so I’m really happy about that! I’ll share it as soon as everything is official, but just know that I am super duper proud of myself.
The books that I’ve been going through though have been great. I’m slowly still going through A Torch Against the Night with my partner, and we haven’t read it in a while so that’s what’s taking a while. But since we are listening to it together, I’d rather wait and do it with him since we rarely read together. I know, a book lover that is with a non-book lover is insane to me but it’s okay. At least I don’t have to fight with him on which books I’m going to read lol.

- Our Violent Ends – Chloe Gong
Oh. My. God.
I finally finished this and it was amazing! It was an amazing duology and I’m so freaking proud of myself for finishing up this series. Gong is an amazing author and I can’t wait to read the rest of her work. That ending though… perfect! Loved it so damn much, and I’m really hoping that I get to see my favorite characters again in the other duology. A great way to end the middle of my week.

- Fake Dates and Mooncakes – Sher Lee
- Black Girls Must Have it All – Jayne Allen
- No Filter and Other Lies – Crystal Maldonado
- Love, Decoded – Jennifer Yen
- Pachinko – Min Jin Lee
- She Who Became the Sun – Shelley Parker-Chan
Repeating this list because I need to get through these! I can’t believe it’s only February 14th and yet I feel like I am running out of time to read anything for this month. Well, maybe it’s because the month is shorter – duhhhh, Leelynn – so maybe that’s why? Ugh I don’t know. Now I feel like I’m just running my mouth trying to come up with things to say lol. I’ll end it here.

Alright, y’all. Hope to see you later in the week.
