I have finally started with Starling House, and it’s been slow. Nothing wrong with that, but it’s not as quick as some of the other books I’ve read last year. I seem to be reading a lot of slower books this month and I’m just like uh… is this a sign that I need to slow down in life? I think that’s probably what the universe is trying to tell me since I have so many things happening at once and I just feel like I’m drowning all over the place. I hope that I’ll be able to stay afloat, and hopefully I can stop sounding like I’m just struggling all the time.

- A Magic Steeped in Poison – Judy I. Lin
Thank goodness for audiobooks man. I had been “reading” All I’ve Wanted All I’ve Needed for most of 2023 and I hadn’t been able to make progress until I listened to it. Thank you, A.E. Valdez for publishing the audiobook this year because it helped me so much. And it was an AMAZING book! I have to say that Winston James was the best Ace in my mind, and I’m glad I found a new narrator to listen for. I basically restarted it from the beginning this year so that it would be fresh in my mind. So technically I read it all this year so I’m counting it. Super proud of myself.

Yep! I know there are more that I need to read but I’m gonna stick with these for now.
