Thank you again to Sam @ Taking on a World of Words for hosting this weekly meme. I’m pretty sure you all know the drill by now, but in case you don’t and you want to join, here are the three questions we always answer:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you will read next?

- All I’ve Wanted All I’ve Needed – A. E. Valdez
- Red Thread of Fate – Lyn Liao Butler
- A Magic Steeped in Poison – Judy I. Lin
I’ve been slowly making progress on all of the books I’m reading right now, and even though I am off my “programming break” from the library, I’ve been trying to find some time to get it some more reading here and there. I haven’t been reading as much as I wanted to, and honestly I think it’s because I’m not doing okay, but I haven’t stopped reading yet. All of these books have been pretty interesting so far though, so I’m happy for that. It’s always great when you pick up a book that you anticipate liking, and you end up being correct about it.

- I Feed Her to the Beast and the Beast is Me – Jamison Shea
Yep, I have only finished one book so far this year, and honestly I’m okay with it. I’m not counting any of the children’s books that I’m reading for the Winter Reading Challenge, so technically I’ve finished only 1. It was a great book, and I’ll have to write my review on it sometime soon, but I’m proud of myself for getting through it. I wonder which book I’ll end up finishing next.

I’m thinking I’m going to need to read one of the books I’ve set aside for the challenges that I’m a part of, and I ended up finding out that I requested the wrong book from the library for one of them, so I’ll have to find an audiobook version to make up for it. It’s okay though, because I still have some time to figure out my plan. I also need to figure out what book I’m going to read to satisfy the prompt for another reading challenge that I’m on through Facebook. It’s really cool – you get 12 postcards throughout the year and you have to match the postcard with a book. It doesn’t have to be exactly, but it has to have an element that’s on the postcard. I have some ideas but I’m not sure which one I’ll go with yet.

And there we have it. Sorry that I haven’t said much lately. Things have been stressful. I hope everyone is having a great day.

I hope you feel better soon and the stress melts away! ❤
