I love these posts. Just saying.

  • Book Review: Two Can Keep a Secret – Brittany @ Brittany the Book Guru

“This novel was still diverse, with a majority of the main characters being people of color: one of the two main characters who was a latinx twin (her twin brother is also heavily involved in the story), two Asian American characters who were pretty important to the plot, and another latinx character who was also vital in the story.”

  • ARC Review: Into the Wildbarrens (The Gems of Elsana #1) – Emma @ A World of Books

“I really enjoyed the setting, it was well described and since there was lots of travelling there was lots of variations in setting.”

  • ARC Review: The Dragon Republic – Louise @ Foxes and Fairy Tales

” The entire book is compelling from front to back. There’s no moment that I thought was less interesting than the rest and no part that I would have skimmed.”

  • The Sister Pact by Stacie Ramey – Dana @ Devour Books with Dana

” So recently I read The Sister Pact. I was so much into reading this book that I didn’t take nearly as many notes as I should have so this is more of a brief review. “
  • Why I don’t listen to audiobooks – Marie @ Drizzles & Hurricane Books

” Yeah…I never even tried once so how on earth could I talk about something that I never tried ??! Guilty as charged but yeah I’m still going to talk about it and I’m going to try to explain why I think audiobooks are just not a good fit for me.”

  • How to get ARCs: A Guide – Mandy @ Devouring Books

“If you use some of these sources and then never write reviews people will remember that and stop sending you free books.”

  • “Was-ifying” and Other Words to Ban from your Writing – Audrey @ The Professional Bookworm

“Of course, I break that rule all the time in this blog, but I think of this as more light hearted writing. Unless there’s someone out there trying to publish me. Anyone? Please come forward.”

  • Why do Bloggers Care About Their Stats? – Caitlin @ Caitlin Althea

” That got me thinking about why we even care about stats in the first place. (I know there are a few lucky people out there who don’t care about their stats, but I’m not one of them and I don’t think you are.)”
  • That one where I read all the samples – Sarah @ Hamlets & Hyperspace

“Here I’m just more determining whether I really want to add these books to my TBR.  As if adding another book to a 700+ made much of a difference.”

  • It’s “What are you reading?” Wednesday! – Alison @ Story-eyed Reviews

“One of my favorites has been a trend of bloggers posting their current reads on Wednesdays.”

  • Can’t Wait Wednesday | Crown of Coral and Pearl – Ambi @ Scaredy Engines End of Line Library

“So much hype! So many high ratings and I finally added this to my TBR today. I have been seeing this book practically everywhere online and I don’t know why it wasn’t already on my TBR, my only thought is because I already thought I’d added it”

      1. Aww thank you♥♥ I really love your reviews, too! I especially like that we tend to read very different books because when I read your reviews, I get great new recommendations and details on books that I would never have considered otherwise!

  1. Yeah, that post about bloggers and their stats was such a thought-provoking read. I keep typing up comments to it and then deleting them. Not really sure what to say to add to the conversation, but it’s one we should definitely be having.

    1. I’m really glad I read that post too, Lydia. I have to remember to not be so focused on my stats, to the point that it makes me discouraged or feel inadequate because that’s not the case at all! Sometimes it’s not even about saying something but just passing on the message. I’m sure you’ll find something you want to say about it though.
