WWW Wednesday | 17 May 2023

Thank you again to Sam @ Taking on a World of Words for hosting this weekly meme. I’m pretty sure you all know the drill by now, but in case you don’t and you want to join, here are the three questions we always answer:

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What did you recently finish reading?
  3. What do you think you will read next?

So the ones in italics are the ones that I’m not actively reading right now. I haven’t picked them up in a long time, so while they are technically still on my currently reading shelf, I’m not actively reading them, if that makes sense. So I’m just going to indicate them as such so we know I’m not really reading that many books at once.

I’m still having a pretty good time with the books that I am actively reading though, which I’m really happy about. I am rereading two books for different reasons, and I just have to make sure that I finish YSSMIAC before my book club meeting since I need to come up with discussion questions and send them out ahead of time. This is for my library book club that I’m starting, and I am so excited for it! I’m hoping that I have some attendance since I’ve heard that book clubs don’t seem to stick well in our library system. So wish me luck in that we have a successful first book club meeting.

Making progress every single week, and I’m really happy with that. Also, this is late but I’m sorry that this post is late! Couldn’t believe that I forgot to work on this last night after trivia, but I was really tired. Honestly, I’ve been tired this whole week, and I don’t know how to catch up on that rest, so I’ll have to figure that out. I want to take some sort of mental health day soon, but I don’t know when.

But I’ve been having a good time reading this year, and I’m happy with that. I remember a few years ago when I was reading all the time but it wasn’t fun anymore. I needed to take a break from everything involving reading and the book community and I did. It was sad for a bit, since there were a lot of people that I missed and were a huge part of my life at that time, but I needed it so badly. And I think I’m so much better for it now.

That’s the only one that I’m going to put on the list for now since I don’t know what I want to read after that. I’m sure I’ll figure it out, but I haven’t yet. I know I’ll have to pick something for the astrology readathon soon, or at least get back into the list that I actually made, but I don’t know if I’ll get into it yet.

But we will see!
