• The Bone Witch – Rin Chupeco

So I already posted yesterday my thoughts on What Kind of Girl as I’m currently reading it, but I’ll share the post here as well. I usually try to power through books even with some of the trigger warnings that I find, but this one is hurting a lot. I had to take a break from it after the chapter on “The Bulimic”. We will see if I get back to it or not. This was another book recommended to me by my library’s Ready Reads Subscription, and it does sound like something that I would at least try, so they were right on that part.

• The Ten Thousand Doors of January – Alix E. Harrow
• Firekeeper’s Daughter – Angeline Boulley

I actually enjoyed both, and I’m glad I finished them within a couple of days of each other. Both of these are for book clubs, so at least I’ll be ready to discuss come book club day. I still need to write my review for Firekeeper’s Daughter though…

I seriously need to start working through my library books…. I keep looking at my library book shelf and I keep filling it up but barely finishing any so I can return them. It doesn’t help that my library right now is allowing us to keep books for like…. 99 renewals so I’m totally taking advantage of that. Which I need to not. So I’m going to pick another library book for my next to read.

Another library recommendation… oh wait did I mention that already? Oops.

I can’t believe it’s almost June! The 16th was my brother’s birthday and I can’t believe he’s already going to be a senior in high school! He’s been growing up so fast before my eyes. Then my birthday is on the 11th and I am NOT looking forward to being another year older, you know? Aiyah.
