I can’t freaking wait for Halloween! I mean, I’m not going to do anything too special or anything but I can’t wait to dress up at my office with a costume that I have never done before! It’s Hogwarts related and hopefully the other girls that said they were going to do the group costume with me will.

I’m so terrible at freebies, so I’m going to pick 10 contemporary novels, and chose what kind of supernatural creature the main character should be to make it interesting. I think that works.

Well maybe 10. This is actually getting hard.

I feel like the main characters in this world should be vampires. Something about the UK in the past, and vampires are supposed to be all over Europe so that matches. I think it would make this book way more interesting.

Serena and Blair should have totally been succubi. I mean with all the sex appeal that they exude and eventually how much sex they ended up having – with others, not each other unfortunately – and besides their trust funds, that could be how they get everything they want. You know? Way cooler.

Rishi Patel: Cupid. He’s such a romantic but since he can only make other people fall in love, he can’t work his magic on himself. That’s why it seems like Dimple is so repulsed by him and he thinks that even though he may not be able to get her to fall in love with him, he wants to be able to open her heart to loving someone.

Rachel: Phoenix. Some type of shapeshifting phoenix of course. There’s just something about Rachel that I absolutely adore, and I think she has big phoenix energy, so I’m going with that.

Julia: Goddess of Healing. Since she has to deal with so much grief after losing her sister in a tragic accident, I feel like she would need to learn from herself, and from the teachings that Toci has given to the Aztec people, would be so beneficial to her growth and healing. It’s easy to heal others, but hard to heal yourself.

Starr: Berserker. I have her has a Berserker because there has been so much strength in her rage, and I feel like she’s had to keep it down because of the whole “angry black girl” stigma, but imagine if she actually harnessed that rage of what happened to Khalil? It would be beautiful.

Evelyn Hugo: Goddess of Vengeance. Could you imagine if all those people that crossed Evelyn got their just desserts? I know that sounds super evil of me, but I’d be so into it. She was powerful enough just being a regular human – for the most part – but imagine of they had no idea what they were really dealing with.

Stevie: Goddess of Justice. Sure, she is a true crime buff and takes inspiration from the lies of Sherlock Holmes. So why not have her be one of the ones that is in charge of justice for the wrongfully killed?

Lingyi: Athena. Ugh, Lingyi is so freaking smart and she really is so great at strategy. Their whole ragtag team would be nothing without her, and she needs to be respected more in the book community, fam. Yes I know this isn’t contemporary, but I needed to include Lingyi.

Nora: Aphrodite. Okay I seemed to have made most of these characters into deities but whatever. Nora just gives me so much love and romance and sexy time vibes, so I’m giving that one to her.
