First Lines Fridays is a weekly feature for book lovers hosted by Wandering Words. What if instead of judging a book by its cover, its author or its prestige, we judged it by its opening lines?

I’m reading this right now and even though I’m not even 100 pages in yet – the text is small and the pages are big – I’m loving this so much! Already so much stuff has gone down and I’m pretty sure I’m only on the second or third chapter! Crazyyyyyyyy. How many of you have already read this one? Let me know!

      1. Oh honey. There is “the boy”… the reason I’m moving in the first place. There is the lunatic that nearly left me homeless. There is freak who told me he needed money because or chemo and then took it for drugs and nearly od’d and then there is about every abusive alcoholic male in my family. Although I should be clear that “the boy” is an amazing person. It would be easier if he wasn’t. It is always easier to be angrier than hurt.
