Top 5 Saturday: Books with Maps

Top 5 Saturday: Books with Maps

Seriously, Dora! You’re giving me a crisis.

Thanks again to Mandy for keeping up with this weekly meme! You are so much appreciated. Am I going to have to go through my books and find what has maps in them though? Yes, yes I am.

Rules!

So basically I had to open up books that I haven’t even read yet to find maps but I found five of them! So boo yeah!

Girls of Paper and Fire by Natasha Ngan. I can’t wait to read this one honestly.

The Poppy War by R. F. Kuang. I still need to read this and the sequel so let’s get going, shall we?

The Cruel Prince by Holly Black. Heard mixed reviews about both the book and the author so I’m still debating on if/when I would read this.

Caraval by Stephanie Garber. Absolutely adored this novel when I read it. I still need to read the final two books of course.

Furyborn by Claire LeGrand. I loved this one too! I feel like I need to reread it though. Also for some reason she doesn’t have this map on her website so this was the best I could find.

Oh look! I posted the rules AND followed them for once. I’m on a freaking roll, fam.

I can’t wait to see everyone’s lists because I love seeing maps briefly and then forgetting that they exist until I have to actually find them again. But hey, they look amazing, and I love them. I’m just a lazy loser. See you guys next time!

  1. Ooh I own Girls of Paper and Fire and didn’t realise it has a map! I’m terribly behind on reading books on my shelves though 😂 loved your choices and post! I did mine today but forgot to tag people… I’m always forgetting at least SOMETHING each week. Maybe next week’s the lucky one?? 💙 Jen

    1. Honestly Jen I never remember to tag people except this one time! Even on my regular tag posts I forget to post people! I’m terrible but hopefully people will do it anyway lol. ❤ Yeah I literally just went through a few books and just started opening them to see what had a map in the front and got lucky! I'm glad you did this one!

    1. You know what? Just totally include atlases heheh. I honestly am so surprised that I found 5 books with maps on my shelf! I thought I was going to have to skip this week and I try not to skip on purpose. Oh no, not terrible at all ❤ Just not something we always pay attention to. I know I don't!

  3. Ooh yes, I liked the map for GoPaF! And I can’t believe that I didn’t include Caraval’s maps on my list. They’re awesome 😍I love maps. I’m obsessive with flipping back and forth throughout the read LOL great choices, Leelynn!

    1. Yes! I think each book has their own map or something? I don’t remember since I didn’t check the others. I still need to read GoPaF though! But I’m glad I caught the map while I was looking for them. They need to make it where we can keep the map open while we are reading or something.

  4. Omg, the map for Caraval looks incredible! I own it and keep eyeing 😅, especially since the final book recently came out. I have to keep stopping myself from buying Legendary and Finale even though I haven’t read the first one because the covers are just SO BEAUTIFUL!
